Sexology Therapy Ireland
1.
Individual
Sex therapy
As a sexology therapist I understand that in today’s society, sexuality has become yet another competitive domain, often leaving people feeling inadequate and lost. Desire and libido can suffer and I am here to help you navigate through the complexities of sexuality in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I believe that everyone deserves access to supportive, well-informed guidance to help them achieve their sexual potential and lead fulfilling lives.

2.
Couples
Sex Therapy
As a Sexology Therapist, I understand that sexuality changes overtime and can be impacted by many variables. Maintaining a long term mutually satisfying intimate relationship is difficult. That's why I offer Couple Sex Therapy- to help you and your partner navigate through any challenges you may face. From work stress to the birth of children, I work with both of you to overcome any obstacle and reignite that spark.
3.
Sexual Dysfunctions & physical pathologies
Sexual dysfunctions affect both men and women. They may always have been present or develop over time. (rapid ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, dyspareunia (pain during intercourse). Either through the normal aging process or because of sickness ( Cancer, heart conditions, etc...) seuality can be negatively impacted. While sexual dysfunctions affect both men and women, there is a fundamental difference I see in sex therapy when it comes to addressing the issue. Women generally book an appointment but in 90% of cases men cannot bring themselves to book an appointment. Talking to a therapist about their sexual problems is just too hard.

Psycho Sexual Development Exploration
Our knowledge of Human Psychosexual Development is strangely limited by the lack of academic interest and funding it has historically received. Yet, our adult sexuality is intrinsically linked to it and understading what it is built on and what it entails unlocks our path to
intimacy

My Approach
What you can expect when we first meet:
Well, first of all, you can expect to be listened to, seen and heard. We will work together to understand what is difficult and painful in your intimacy. Making sense of how you have come to be here today will help us define where you want to go next.
Sexology draws knowledge from a wide range of academic fields, some you would expect: Psychology, Sexual Medicine, Biology and some maybe less obvious: History, Cultural Studies, Anthropology. In A Sexology session, we usually mix talk therapy with some more practical exercices to be done at home between sessions.

I am using a number of therapies: CBT, (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) sexoanalysis, relaxation, breathing techniques but also education, bibliotherapy, breathing exercises, etc..
